I had always been an overweight girl. I was an emotional eater and turned to food every time something happened to me. In the summer of 2010, I stepped on the scale and saw the highest number I had ever seen - 217. I was devastated.
I attempted to lose weight on my own, and lost about 20 pounds. When I hit a plateau, I gave up and fell back into emotional binging. When I stepped on the scale over the holidays, I was sad to see that I had gained back 15 of the 20 pounds I had lost.
I decided enough was enough and joined Sport&Health. With the help and guidance of the Sport&Health team, I have now lost 50 pounds and I have never felt better! Special thanks to Medina for the Cardio Strength Interval classes, and my Zumba and BodyPump instructors!
I have more confidence with every day that passes. I have become stronger, healthier, and happier with this lifestyle change. I know it was my determination that guided my weight loss, but thank you Sport&Health for helping me achieve my weight loss goals!
